Sexual & Reproductive Health & Rights (SRHR) Programme

Objective

To reduce infection risk and violence

Young people often face risks such as early pregnancies, sexually transmitted infections (STIs), gender-based violence, and misinformation due to lack of access to reliable SRHR education.

This programme addresses these challenges by:

  • Providing accurate and age-appropriate information

  • Promoting responsible decision-making

  • Encouraging respect, consent, and healthy relationships

  • Reducing stigma and harmful myths

  • Supporting prevention of STIs and unintended pregnancies

Our Approach

We deliver this programme using a rights-based, inclusive, and youth-friendly approach that respects cultural contexts while prioritizing health, dignity, and informed choice. Encouraging men to champion healthier liifestyles including open discussions about HIV prevention and sexual health.

Programme delivery includes:

  • Interactive Workshops – Engaging sessions on key SRHR topics

  • Safe Dialogue Spaces – Open discussions where participants can ask questions freely

  • Peer Education – Training youth champions to influence their peers positively

  • Community Engagement – Involving parents, caregivers, and leaders to support learning

Core Areas of Focus

2. Prevention of STIs & HIV
